America gets thin at the restaurants expense...

As the smoking ban in Fort Wayne closes all of our restaurants, nationally some other movement must be taken place - like America is getting too thin ...

On the list of closings from Starbucks to Lone Star to Chili's to Ruby Tuesday's to Wendy's to Cheesecake Factory all struggling to make the money or get the (fat) butts in the seats. This according to USA Today.

Locally, Don Pablo's closed on Coliseum. The Brickhouse on Coldwater, The Gateway Inn on Goshen and the ever name changing Mexican restaurant in Gateway Plaza all have closed.

So what's the deal? Well, in Fort Wayne - of course - it is simply that people can't smoke and eat so people are beginning to slowly starve themselves to death. But nationally, well people are getting so thin because they are eating at home. Of course we are not in a recession, depression or any other session.
