The creator of the Bob Evans restaurant chain has passed away, his name WAS Bob Evans!I had always wondered if there really was a Bob Evans. There was, and he was just a state away. What started out as a truck-stop style place grew into the magnificent chain of home-style restaurants. There were $1.6 millions in sales this past year covering 18 states with 590 restaurants. That is alot of biscuits and gravy and whole hog sausage!!
As you pass the red style home-restaurant remember the man who invested 54 years in creating the restaurant dynasty! (One more person gone from the death pool)
